The Quickcut Direct Cut Attachment for self-propelled forage harvesters was originally designed in New Zealand in 2000. Since then it has been refined and developed into todays model, the QuickcutGB 580, which is now built and distributed in Great Britain.

For 2008 QuickcutGB have added a second model to their range, the QuickcutGB Mini 400,aimed at the smaller contractor. Both QuickcutGB units are fully compatible with Claas, John Deere and New Holland forage harvesters enabling this machinery to substantially increase harvesting wholecrop in a relatively short window of opportunity.
